May 3, 1960 I caught my First Fish, I was 4 years old. I was hooked. I have been fishing the waters of Mobile and Baldwin county all my life. For 17 years I owned and operated the Southern Sportsman fresh water bait and tackle store. In 1992 I moved to Orange Beach to manage Walter Trent Marina and charter fish. I ran inshore fishing trips and off shore trips aboard Albacore II a 44ft custom boat. After Hurricane Ivan hit the Alabama Gulf Coast and Orange Beach, things changed. I really enjoy near shore and back bay fishing, so I started back inshore fishing on a 20 ft pathfinder perfect for 2 to 4 passengers. I fish around the rocks and Perdido Pass bridge for flounder, redfish, sheepshead, pompano, and bluefish. In the back bays we catch white trout, speckled trout and flounder. I can accommodate any level of angler, I enjoy taking kids and being part of their first fish caught, or die hard fisherman. One thing about inshore fishing is you’ re not in the offshore gulf waters and getting seasick is not a problem. Most trips are 4 hrs., will be done in a half day. It's great to take your catch and have them cooked that night. Contact me for a great time on the water fishing. |
